Reaching at Siam Paragon Mall is very easy as it is centrally located and located right in front of Siam stop, hop on BTS (sky train) from any of the located stations and you are there and because it’s a famous destination which makes it one of the biggest landmarks of Bangkok so hiring a cab from any part of Bangkok and just letting the cab driver know Siam Paragon will lead you there but due to traffic congestion it is better and time consuming to come by BTS.

night life in bangkok

Bangkok is famous for its night life which attracts millions of visitors in a year from across the world; there are few streets which makes visitors enticing to visit at least once while they enjoy their stay in Bangkok, Thailand such as soi Cowboy, named after a cowboy hat wearing African American who opened the first bar in 1970s.
It is located on Asoke also called as sukhumvit soi 21 which is the center point of the city, with flashy neon sign boards on top of the bars the street is full of bars with hundreds of girls shouting Hello/Welcome calling the visitors to get in the bar and get a chance to see more girls doing the pole dance while they enjoy their drink, most dancers steps off the stage to try their luck to get a ‘lady drink’ which normally is cola and also a quick exit……
Most girls are not above the age of 30 which makes this soi works and attracts loads of tourists. One can easily get a chance to see topless or almost nude girls which is technically illegal but accepted. Most of the girls are also prostitutes and are ready to render their services if one is willing to pay the bar fine and the girl’s fee separate.
The soi also has few restaurants which are open till late to render their services.

MBK mall bangkok
Written by admin on August 20, 2009 – 6:15 am -MBK: Mbk or Mah Boon Krong is one of the oldest and the famous destination of Bangkok, with six floors and over 2000 shops and ample parking, it has every thing from clothing, watches, handbags, shoes, belts, electronics, cell phones and a movie theatre located on the top floor. Opened in 1986 it attracts both locals and tourists for great choices of products to choose from, being an attraction of Bangkok in MBK one can really show his/her skills by doing loads of bargain with the shopkeepers.
Starting from the ground floor it has banks which help the tourists to change the money at a convincing price, the food outlets like MacDonald’s, KFC and Star Bucks which gives commuters the feeling of being home as they get the same taste and choices like back home, then followed by heaps of shops of local brands where bargaining is little tough art but you get what you pay for. On first floor termed as second floor (Chan song) in Thai language good quality products of leather can be found, Thailand is famous for its craftsmanship one can easily get good crocodile leather shoes and accessories,this floor also has the Tokyo departmental store, a famous chain of Japan selling all kind clothing brand made locally in Japan, stepping up on next floor ,which is famous for its unique smell because of the stalls offering loads of cosmetics and perfumes, one can easily get confused or convinced by what they are buying is real or fake but it always works as the buyer is always happy of their purchase. Followed by cosmetics it has stalls of fake watches, all expensive brands fake but good quality generally termed as A Grade, the buyers doesn’t have to spend a lot to get a feeling of James Bond, but that doesn’t mean that one who is looking for real thing cant get it has shops selling real watches too, this floor also attracts locals as this floor has many printing shops doing all kind of art work from visiting cards , invitation letters to outdoor and indoor sign boards,stepping up on third floor one will always have to look out for space to walk as its always crowded with loads of people looking for new gadgets, the floors is almost full with stalls selling only phones one can always find the weirdest types of phones imported from China, Taipei and across the globe, whether it’s a local make or imported from any other country the Thais are very experts in unlocking the phones and making it work locally, you will also find shops selling DVDs and video games in this floor, the floor also has many jewelery stores selling customized and gold jewelery, many chinese families are doing jewelery business in MBK from ages and one cant stop praising their products who offer from fine cut ruby to emerald from sapphires to diamonds. Further up on fourth floor there is big section of furniture, kitchen section, sofas, Chinese compact temples, office furniture, rugs and home accessories mostly locally made with top quality wood and teak many local big brands are also there like SP furniture and many more, this floor is also famous for its food court as 5th Food Avenue where one can find every kind of food from different parts of world whether its Indian, Lebanese, Chinese, Japanese or steaks you name it they have it in there. Moving further up on 5th floor there is craft market with a wide range of craftsmanship from all over the Thailand from noisy wooden frog, tapestries, bed sheets, table runner, cutleries and many more defining the art. On the same floor you will find and get the chance of trying the Thai cuisine at an affordable prices, from chicken fried rice with basil leaves ( kaphao kai), noodle soup with chicken balls (kutyo), tum yam soup to dried pork they have everything enticing and deliciously prepared, this food court allows everybody to explore more about Thai cuisine at pocket friendly prices.
